Kitchen Repair...In December of 2005, our house was broken into. Tim was home, and he, and the alarm scared away the bad man before he could take much (he only made off with a briefcase and a power saw). Still, the damage he did gave us the impetus to redo the kitchen. Take a look at these images...

Molly's "Peter Pan" Adventure

. . .

This summer (2005), Molly participated in a local children's theatre camp (at St. Benedict's). Her session produced Peter Pan. They made their own costumes, sets and were taught theatre-type stuff like blocking and stage combat. The Entertainment Project ran it and despite a few small glitches (and the extreme heat) the final production was smooth, sweet and lots of fun! Molly played "Feather", a lost kid. She sang four songs, had a fight scene and a line!

"Will you be our mother?"

Molly's best friend, Kelly, came to see her performance along with the family (including big brother-in-law Matt) and a couple good friends from church. A good time was had by all! Stay tuned. There's a video memory disk coming out...Hey, how do I put video on the website???

In my continuing quest to do things that will make my kids say, "Remember when Mom...? Yeah, she was nuts.", Molly and I went down under the Fullerton Avenue Bridge at 7:00pm on April 21, 2005 to view the vision of Mary, the mother of Jesus. These photos do nothing to capture the crowd; or the mixed feelings of awe, claustrophobia, hope and tension within it. People were touching the wall with their hands, flowers, their children...quite an event.

MOM'S AWARD (2/17/05)

On February 17, 2005, Patti was awarded (even as a rookie) one of the four Cushman & Wakefield of Illinois Pinnacle awards for service in 2004.

This award is given to outstanding support staff members of the year. (Yeah me!)

MOLLY'S SCHOOL EVACUATED (11/2/04)

(Click above photo for full Tribune article.)
Although Molly ended up in the ER
on oxygen for 1.5 hours as a precaution,
everyone was OK. School was closed for 4 days
for repairs, upgrades and tests.
